Background and Purpose One of the problems and dilemmas that exist in our country, Iran, is the decrease in the age of committing a crime. Statistics show that about 52% of the criminal population of the correctional center are expelled from the education system. The purpose of this study is to prevent delinquency of middle school students in Tehran by resorting to restorative justice and the implementation of these programs and the use of examples in schools. ژ Method This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of analytical-descriptive method. The statistical population includes two groups, 81 heads of police stations in Tehran and 600 principals of middle schools in Tehran. The sampling method is more than the first group of 240 and compared to the second group of 240 middle school principals for whom the sampling method was systematic. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect information. Findings and Results Findings show that according to Chi-square, Tai Kendall, Pearson and Friedman tests, there are significant differences between the two statistical populations from the perspective of managers, civil rights education and mediation, and from the perspective of police chiefs. The presence of specialized police and the training of legal and citizenship issues have the greatest impact on the prevention of student delinquency. The results of the research show that training and practicing mediation, peace, compromise and promoting a culture of tolerance, avoiding criminal encounters, forming a juvenile police force and teaching legal issues and mastering the psychological foundations of students are effective in preventing crime.
